Frank Ryan Jr. of the Shannonside Astronomy Club took a wonderful animation of Jupiter on a recent trip to portugal. See the animation and Frank's write up here.
Animation of Jupiter by Frank Ryan Jr. Frank kindly provided the following commentary; "It was taken over around 4 hours and
shows a transit of the GRS around most of the planet.
The seeing got worse as the planet dipped twords the horizon at dawn.
There are 10 individual frames,
each a finished image from a 2 min AVI captured through
a Philips SPC9000 webcam & ETX-125
